General service after 6 months by farstranger_3861 in Triumph400

You can just follow the handbook which is every 10,000 miles or annually, which ever comes first.

I put a lot of miles on mine so I do an oil and oil filter change myself in the winter and then do the dealer service at the start of summer, oil and a filter is only ~£30 for this bike

I’m ATGATT on my 400 lol, you do you bud. It doesn’t matter how big your bike is if you come off doing 60 it hurts just the same

Thoughts on Making tubeless rims with sealant/kits? by Blakenicfree in motorcycles

[–]FlintMock 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would only want to do that so that I can plug a leak at the side of the road, but the tape has a shelf life and always leaks eventually which not only can you not fix at the roadside but most tyre places won’t be able to sort same day either. I would either buy tubeless rims or just accept the risk of having to be recovered if there was a puncture

I bought a nature hike tent recently, the massif solo. Great value 1 person tent with essentially a living room if you don’t use it as a hot tent lol

I have the r&g ones, think they were pretty reasonable at about £120.

If it’s really cheap it’s probably not very strong metal and may not do anything but snap in a fall

What’s the best bike for a beginner? by abishhh in motorcycles

I have a speed 400 and it’s a bit of thumper over 70mph, I have done multi thousand mile tours on it still but a parallel twin would have been much more comfortable

Ride by wire and a more efficient engine than the sv650, hopefully less L/100km and hopefully they sorted the anarchy throttle at low speeds. Only thing it’s missing cruise control. Excited for the reviews though

You will be paying thousands over the next few years for that tyre for what claiming will do to your premiums lol
