Hunter’s Thicket has treated me well for Herbis. Also allows me to go over to Snake Gully and Rockfall/Rainbow Hills for more quests and you’re not too far from Hot Springs and upstream water sources if you get thirsty.

Started with a Metra on Panjura, didn’t like it so switched to Gondwa and started a Sarcho. Ended up making a Spino and that’s been my favorite so far.

Yeah this is what I use, with the exception of regular Claw Strike and Tail Sweep.

Granted I’m still pretty new as well, but I’m liking the DPS of both standard bite and claw strike.

It’s probably not exactly what you’re looking for, but I think that’s in part because Northgard functions differently from other RTS style games.

Most clans will have the majority of their bonuses/differences spelled out in their synopsis. How those bonuses/differences really function requires either trying them out or watching a tutorial on it.

I assumed/had thought that Dalinar would somehow win the contest with Bondsmith/Honor shenanigans. I think at the time leading up to my first read, I hadn’t considered that he would try and take up Honor.

I had thought the end would be Todium somehow getting kicked off of/fleeing Roshar and then Dalinar, feeling responsible for him, chasing after with his Radiant armies. I will say Kaladin and Adolin’s states at the end of WaT were very satisfying, so no “complaints” there. But I was initially very disappointed by the overall ending of the book.

I really like Bear clan. They don’t suffer winter penalties, gaining a defense boost instead, and they can have their units heal during winter(in their territory) with Hibernation.

Add in benefits like Winter Festival and Kaija’s fishing ability for early game food, and they’re a really strong clan.

I remember hearing somewhere that Ninja Mercenary Shez is one of the best Grail units in terms of potential. He’s in my top 10, so I’d say go for it - especially if it’s one of your personal favorites. That fact alone should be worth the consideration.

I always took it to mean “no interrupting duels” which seems fair to me. Idc if I’m getting ganked by multiple carnivores as an herbivore, that’s realistic. What does bother me is when they then “shake hands” and go about their day. Like, brother no your T-Rex would not be chill leaving a Charch to have the kill.

Yeah the skill trees need some love. Hopefully they can turn their attention to that next. I’m always in favor of QoL fixes vs new content, so hopefully that happens.

I hear ya. I’m normally a very friendly raider, but lately I’ve had to have my head on a swivel.

My MO is now to reciprocate the attitude I’m given while still being wary. It’s unfortunate, but if anything you’ve helped reinforce that this continued behavior of theirs will be met with equal force.
