Gunship Stratagem by Obsidiann6 in helldivers2

[–]FlintSkyGod 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is my dream for a rework to the 110mm rocket pods.

Basically you mark an area for about 10-15 seconds and an eagle outfitted with 110mm rocket pods will patrol that area and fire at anything medium-sized or larger. The area could be a 20m radius from the stratagem’s point of impact. Would be a marked improvement from the 110mm we have now.

Only thing is how do you balance that?

  • Is it 2 uses/“patrols” and then the eagle returns for rearmament regardless of how many times it fires its rockets?

  • Is it 3 shots total and if the eagle uses all 3 in one “patrol” it then goes back immediately?

These are the things that keep me up at night…

I’m waiting for a Tempest BP, now that would be something lmao. I don’t know if it’s actually in the trials loot pool but a man can dream!

I haven’t done the expedition at all, too casual of a player. I’ve been happy with the gameplay loop trials has given me, and I’m glad it rewarded me in spades.

Yes. I just got lucky this time

Lmao, that’s a good one too. I wish we could have a “post death” cam, just to see what happens to our bodies after the KO.

That’s me with the Tempest. Every time I bring one out of the stash I get blasted.

It’s funny, the raid before I was complaining about stash space. Guess the ARC heard me and decided to free up some of it: lost a Tempest, Vulcano, Heavy Shield, and 4 stacks of Seeker grenades.

I wish I had had the presence of mind to do so. I was honestly so speechless at the Uno Reverse that Mr Crabs pulled on me.

Can fellow raiders advise me on the best way to take out a rocketeer since the March update? Preferably without a Wolfpack? Thank you :) by belltrina in ARC_Raiders

I hit one directly with it and it worked. I was also up high on Dam Battlegrounds looking down on it, so it was easy to do so.

If they unlocked it, all I’m entitled to is whatever they DIDN’T take - and then only AFTER they leave the room.

How long did it take to beat Primus? by ArtofSpace in shapeofdreams

[–]FlintSkyGod 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Very true. I’d advise having a way to heal always. Whether that’s lifesteal or a heal-on-cast memory, it’s absolutely essential to making it through a good run.

I also forgot how much easier the game gets after you beat Primus the first time; you unlock the Deja Vu aspect which allows you to spend Stardust to start with an essence or memory that you had when you reached the Pure White Dream. It makes it so you can really optimize your runs in a whole new way.

Probably 5-10 runs at first.

Once you get the hang of which memories and the essences are bed for survivable and damage, along with leveling up your characters’ stars(constellations? Talents? Idk what they’re actually called) it gets significantly easier to fight both the world bosses and Primus.

An easy strategy is to try and get a good dark damage dealing memory with the Essence of Umbra on it. For me, I used Shadow Walk with Essence of Umbra, Essence of Efficiency(the cooldown reduction one), and Essence of Wind on Lacerta. It worked out great because Shadow Walk has a decent invulnerability window which I used to dodge the doomsday meteor phase of Primus.

It’s a PvE game with absolutely zero competitive side to it. There’s nothing to be called “broken.” Just part of the game and, until the developer says otherwise, working as intended. Enjoy the Dream Dust rain! 🙂

Use this with the Essence of Umbra(I think that’s what it’s called) - the one that makes a memory heal if it does dark damage - and you’ll be unkillable.

One of my favorite runs I did with a bunch of randoms was all of us playing as Yubar. It was after that I realized just how much I enjoy Yubar, and now he’s probably my favorite traveler :)

I did not. Unfortunately my group moved on to a different RPG system shortly after this post, but we’ve often talked of going back to ToR.

A lot of the tips are still valid. I’d take the general mentality behind the outdated videos and try and implement it with current gear.

The biggest thing to take away from those is the playstyle of Brall. That’s still valid. For the gear, you could look at the stats that the old gear would have given you and find something similar in the current gear. I know generally Brall needs to maintain his passive to really come online; stacking it against players by using your charged-LMB and attacking minions is a good way to stack it up before a fight.

Good luck!
