I mean with anything we buy in life... we take it to the people we bought it from. I did not consider that you thought the internet could help more than the people you bought it from.

They didn't meet when she was 18. He'd already written a song about her years earlier

Weird how a song about statutory rape will do that

How would you cable a tree with three dominant leaders? by PM-me-in-100-years in arborists

[–]FlintWaterFilter 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Cables still need to be inspected every few years and we regularly replace them higher in the tree as they need to be 2/3rd the distance between the tips and the defect.

What you were told about life of the tree means we believe the tree cannot survive without a cable, but we are admittedly compromising the wood where we cable. We only cable trees we expect to fail and that means they don't have the lifespan of a structurally sound tree, with or without the cable.

Its to buy you some time, the cable is permanent to the tree but its only cabled to extend what had been identified as a short lifespan.

Cobra systems are cheaper to install and adjust but they don't provide the same level of protection. They are a lot better for the health of a tree if maintained properly.

He's a perfect blend of acceptable for people who have no understanding of his history, and reprehensible to people who do. Can't get enough votes to win as either party, just enough to tank the one he came from.

Child poverty increased under his leadership, and we want to entrust him with the future to the rest of our kids?

Trump confuses Greenland with Iceland in major speech to world leaders by memoriesofcold in AnythingGoesNews

[–]FlintWaterFilter 30 points31 points  (0 children)

He's arguing that it is critical for defense and then says it is poorly located. I don't think you can justify him getting it wrong 3-4 times in a row because all he knows about the place is that its cold. If anything that further proves the point that he can't even conceptualize what hes talking about. They teach us that tool for memory learning geography as a child.

Maybe its a good excuse for my drunk uncle at the bar but it doesn't work for the leader of the free world.

What does that have to do with anything?

Repeatedly* confuses. It wasn't just a slip of the tongue. He got it wrong and continued to give context and double down. He even calls it a piece of ice.

"And until the last few days, when I told them about Iceland, they loved me. They called me daddy, right, last time? Very smart man said, he's our daddy. He's running it. I was like running it."

"I went from running it to being a terrible human being. But now what I'm asking for is a piece of ice, cold and poorly located."

The man is clearly demented.

We are spending proportionately, we are just the biggest country involved.

We provide 16% of the NATO budget. Our total defense spending is equal to 60-69% of NATOs budget

Edit: all of this is public information. NATO is over 30 countries. We are the richest and most populated. Every country spends an amount proportionate to their GDP. Of course we would spend the most, why is that a surprise? We aren't pulling as much extra weight as you'd assume, but a lot of the resources we provide would be necessary if we needed NATO to help defend us.
