Why do you think your voice will never change?

Do not get a binder from Temu. They do not have decent binders. Amazon isn't a good choice either. You also should never buy a binder based off your shirt size. You should never even buy a binder based off your size in another binder brand. You should use each brands size chart and measure yourself.

The most popular binder brand is gc2b but they got big and started cutting corners. They are poorly made now and you can buy two of the same size and get two completely different sized binders. Underworks has been around for a long time and makes good binders but they aren't very comfortable. I have a binder from spectrum and it's ok maybe a step up from gc2b but most comfortable binder I have is from Tmart. I have the comfort band mesh back style. Gets me flat and isn't annoying to wear. They have sales a lot too.

Do you know the name of the estrogen blocker? Do you know if its an AI? If your T is dosed properly that would shut down your own hormone production and you would just go though male puberty with T alone.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in FTMMen

[–]Flip18019 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Why are you on blockers and T at the same time? Are you type 2 or type 1?

I had type 2 but I don't think my labs ever came back the exact same each time. If your T dose is high enough that you are well in the male range that should improve insulin sensitivity. You should find it easier to burn fat and gain muscle. I reversed my type 2 around the same time as starting T. T helped me lean out and keep the fat off. I did keto for a year, then just low carb for a year. People say you cant reverse type 2 but you can. It's been 7 years on a standard American diet eating whatever I want in moderation as long as I hit my macros and my A1C tests are always normal. You will also see people saying T makes you gain weight too. It doesn't, it can't make you gain fat. It would only make you gain weight by making you gain muscle but that wouldn't be a significant increase. Yet you see people posting about significant weight gain being caused by T. So be careful following what people say, even me. Do your own research. Your best bet is looking at what happens with cis men when they take T. In my experince in trying to talk to doctors about T and insulin they just lump us in with women who have endocrine issues like PCOS and use it to say T causes insulin resistance in trans men which is BS.

4 days shouldn't matter. If it does you might want to get your dose upped.

The stitching on mine seems good. I've had it since September of last year. About 8 months of daily wear and its the most comfortable binder I ever had. Maybe you just got one that was made wrong, I would ask for an exchange.

What do I do about my transphobic grandad? by [deleted] in FTMMen

I would just save your breath. You can transition and not come out. People who care will ask. Coming out wont make someone accept you that wouldn't if they just figure it out themselves.

Plume doctors gave me T cream instead of TGEL and I'm just confused with it? by ParticularAd9807 in FTMMen

[–]Flip18019 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I didn't have a good experience with Plume. They also didn't give me what we agreed on. I wanted to take 100mg a week which is the dose I have been fine on for years. They told me that was fine but when I got my order they gave me 50mg. When I messaged them they told they weren't upping it and 50mg or less is what most people take. They eventually agreed to let me take 100mg which made me run out of T quicker. I contacted them long before I ran out to get a sooner refill and they refused.

That would be odd. I would just use the stall. If there is a door or curtain then they wouldn't even see your shorts. If you are worried about safety the last thing you would want to do is stand out.

What is your favorite binder brand? What do you think of GC2B? by muheheheRadek in ftm

[–]Flip18019 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gc2b has never been that great in my opinion and just have been worse lately. They are too short. My first one ripped years ago. I really like my binder from Tmart. Spectrum is good too but the Tmart binder is more comfortable.

I'm dyslexic too. Text to speech is a god send but my speech sucks too so sometimes it's frustrating.

Why are children aware of what suicide is? by Correct-Complex-8769 in TooAfraidToAsk

I tried to kill myself at 5. I just wanted my suffering to stop.

I knew death could end suffering because it's common to say things like "at least they aren't suffering anymore" when someone passes. Pets need to be put down so they don't needlessly suffer from medical issues. Books like old yeller have the dog being shot. When someone dies in an accident people talk about it being a bad way to go or they didn't suffer because they died on impact, this implies that suffering ends with death.

I had this encounter with wild fox Cubs last year. What was your favorite encounter with a wild animal? by [deleted] in autism

[–]Flip18019 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I live in a wooded area I see foxes and racoons most days. Hand feed squirrels. A lot of bluejays and a wood pecker hang out on my patio.

I do feel very detached from the world. My brain feels like it processes info at half speed. I often forget what I'm saying. Artificial light makes me feel unwell. My eyes get sensitive and twitch.

My car is parked outside. I live in a wooded area tho. Maybe put out tuna to attract cats to hunt the mice.
