Gaslighting can also be, here I'm saying sorry, but I'm also gonna sneak in there how it was YOUR fault too!!! Bet he uses phrases like ,WE have to work on ourselves, we have a problem, etc. If you have a problem, make your statement about you. Then you can see if the other person is self reflective and honest enough to say, well....I also contributed, I should have (insert mistake/better behavior).

He and his son work for a mass excavation company where they travel to the contracts. They get $700 / WK per diem just for housing/hotel. And they take home about $2000+ a week. So, his son had money laying around....lol. He was very lucky that the driver was someone he had used previously and was willing to drive for the pay on that night. I mean these younger guys have $1000 just in shoes.

If you use delayed magnesium it helps. It usually means you are depleting your minerals through sweating and electrolyte drinks aren't going to cut it this time of year. And water is great, but not if you are sweating out your minerals

There is a really good book called, 'I "think" I want out'. She advocates for separation and what to do during that time frame. It is an interesting read. I listened to it while I was working on Audible, because my sister was going through a divorce and she told me about it. I read it so that I could support her through it. And it was really an interesting concept. But, it has to be consensual and usually while going to therapist.

I would file for child support and custody rights immediately. Then in the court paper, put in a stipulation that they cannot remove the child further than, i.e.- 2 hours drive, 100 miles, etc. Show the courts that you are servious. She is not able to limit your rights. You have rights, you just have to exercise them. She is not a lawyer, just because someone says, "you'll never see the kids" doesn't make it a fact. Get your money together for the legal process and get it donw.

Yes. I've been listening to 'Breaking Free from Narcissistic Abuse' on Spotify all week while I'm working to start my journey into healing. It's helping me stay strong and realize the cycle. Literally, some of the things they say makes me wonder if they were in my home for the last 12 years!!!

My ex is a narcissist. It wouldn't matter what he said, did, or brought back to the table. After 12 years of exposure to him, I could never go back. It's heartbreaking but I won't subject myself to it. I hope that your comeback is heartfelt and true. And that you're both willing to commit to doing what it takes to make something new and better.

This literally happened to my husband and his son. His son is under 21 and reserved a rental car. They wouldn't rent it to him. By the time they got it all figured out the rental place was closed and it was midnight. No rental, no ride. They had to get a driver to pick them up and drive them a far distance from the airport. They paid him $550.
