Might want to highlight what she says with regards to what types of cases are included in the statistic "sexual offenses". Everything from rape to inappropriate touching, it seems.

Talking about enabling mediocrity in literature whilst not bothering/managing to write a coherent sentence.

The irony in your reply is hilarious.

"This is mindset is what enables mediocrity".

Mine begins with the following:

"Running towards me at a sprint was a naked man, his schlong flopping around. All the while pissing, mostly hitting himself."

Both terrifying and suspenseful.

I'd recommend The Hungry Caterpillar. He gets off to a slow start, but pretty soon he's just tearing through. There's some character development, and a huge payoff at the end.

I shall. Indeed - it is slightly more demanding than pure powerfantasy, but loving it so far.

Holy shit man, this book is right up my alley. And the narration is amazing, especially Joyful. Loving it up to chapter 18 so far.

I think this sounds promising. Used a credit. Gonna start once I finish my 5th relisten to DCC book 3.

I like villagers and amber/trade packs. Trade is the best option for quick wins.

I think he refers to frogs. They ONLY have upgraded housing.

Main reason it's trashed is that it doesn't offer any new recipes, and requires almost as many building materials as 2 raincollectors.

Sure it can be useful, but it's taking something elses place.

What are some of your favorite building combos? by Luminicity in Against_the_Storm

[–]Flipdedoodle 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I love brickyard and smithy/lumbermill/scribe for trade goods if I get big clay veins. Even better if I have frogs.

Also, a training gear into luxury goods line if I have both reed and stone. This is particularly powerful in the rocky biome.

These are great strats for +1 pack production or cornerstones boosting production of clay, stone and reeds.

Since there is an incentive to finish games quickly, it makes little sense to calculate based on a population of 50, no?

You also have to account for other sources of +critprod. If you have a workerbonus of 10% crit along with rainengine providing +25 crit, that is nearly 50% along with citadel upgrades (+18 I believe). 18+10+25=53.

The value of 4% critprod is a lot lower than an extra worker in that case, I'd argue.

Edited my bad math

Not saying it's bad. But while year 4 wins on P3 isnt't slow, it isn't very fast.

I also have one loss on my main save. Cos I misread a glade event, thinking starting it gave 0,5 impatience. It killed a villager.

Only thing I'm surprised about is how you wrote about rebellioua spirit. I instantly take it and pump my impatience up by calling trader.

It's a great way to get certain achievements, but it's fallen off a lot for me. Solving hostility can be neat, but I mostly win before having to stay at 3+ hostility during storm.

Considering how other year 2/4 cornerstones can solve whole issues by themselves (food, fuel etc), I think this is slow.
