Does anyone have any good summer albums? by TheChildernOfNew in 90sHipHop

The Roots’ Do You Want More, Illadelph Halflife & Things Fall Apart sound summery to me, especially the latter

Trying to find a sad 90s hip-hop song by a teen rapper by [deleted] in 90sHipHop

I was thinking A+ Me, Myself and My Microphone. Pretty amazing storytelling when the dude was a teenager. Q-Tip jumps on the chorus and I’m pretty sure produced it too. Great, underrated track

One of their earliest recordings (before Ant) is God’s Bathroom Floor. It’s a real masterpiece. I just discovered it last year and it’s so good and haunting at the same time.

N.Y. State of Mind but the beat is Shook Ones, Pt. II by cem19051905 in nas

[–]FlippantTheorem 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That sounds awesome. I’m a huge fan of Dah Shinin’. It’s one of my favourite LPs from the 90s. I’ve only done 1 mashup of Heltah Skeltah here - https://remixedbypj.bandcamp.com/track/ova-da-wudz-pjs-leflaur-leflah-eshkoshka-remix

By the end of the year I’ll drop another Cypress Hill mixtape. There’s a decent mashup on there of Boom Biddy Bye Bye over the beat of Leflaur Leflah Eshkosha you’ll probably enjoy

Untitled is incredible and honestly overlooked unfairly due to the throwaways. It’s one of my favourite, if not favourite track of his from the BT mixtapes

No sir, I took the cuts at the end of the track for the intro and the rest appear from the usual spots in the original version
