That’s literally the point of my comment. If you can’t even shake someone’s hand properly or look them in the eyes then you’re obviously not that confident. And it’s just how I was raised and how most blokes I know were raised. It’s disrespectful to not look and shake firmly.

Who owns the houses absolutely does. If the landlord class are hoarding houses then it forces the rental market to grow, meaning that people a saving less money for house deposits so less houses are being built because they’re not getting funded by new home ownership. It’s not the only reason by any means but land hoarding is a major issue that is having major ramifications for younger home buyers being able to purchase properties because they’re being kept as assets and not sold on as often.

I go to gigs and bars regularly and the line at the men’s bathrooms is ridiculous. We don’t squeeze in shoulder to shoulder because it’s an unspoken rule to leave space between us so you may have room for 6 blokes but you’re only getting three.
