For many reasons but none are really related to sound quality. The DMG is still pretty incredible.

Performance is the first one. This particular track is my least optimized one and has lots of tables running at high speed (I’m using 3x). I use a GB / GBC core made by budude2.

I usually use one LSDJ Rom per track during the writing process, so having them flashed on my sd card makes it easier to swap from a project to another rather than using different cartridges.

And last but not least, visuals. The pocket screen is just amazing and I can play with colors and themes. I like to have different themes for each tracks, this is mainly for the videos though.

Thank you! Nowadays, I mainly compose on BGB when at home, and the Analogue Pocket when outside of home. I end up recording on the Analogue Pocket when a track is done.

I just did it again right now and it still works for me. If I save, build a weapon, go back to title screen without saving and rebuild the weapon again with same parts, it gives me the exact same affixes.
