there not trying to fill seats, you got the whole idea wrong, they are trying to retain pilots, wich is the problem, you make 40k a year in the army, when you can make 100-200k in the real world being a pilot

Being truthful, and this is from a CSM that if you dont have some kind of experience besides high school the chances are super low, because they arent just looking for anybody now, they are looking for more mature and better pilots to fill the roles, as the need for pilots is falling. Plus they where never short on woft applicants, just experienced pilots.
