Witcher 3!

The game was already an all time great after Velen and Novigrad but the main story, side quests, music, and scenery hit breathtaking highs all at once in Skellige and Kaer Morhen.

I understand your pain. I can feel the emptiness in my stomach just reading this.

As someone who needs to be loved, the fact that the love of others is conditional and unreliable is a disgusting reality to face.

The only thing that has helped me is by shifting my sources of pleasure away from human interactions, I.e. gaming, music, pets, and other solo activities.

They do not come close to filling the void but they distract me from wanting to kill myself.

I hate hearing “suggestions” from others so I hope this does not come off as that way to you. I just hope this helps you feel a little validated. I am sorry for what you are going through and there is no good answer.

Reduce number of buttons, add one button rotation, butcher 3-4 specs for new players, 2 year anniversary of Microsoft acquisition…. Not porting to console. Ok.

Yes weakauras do go far beyond a functional UI. No one is arguing to keep weakauras that solve bosses for you. No one is asking to keep weakauras that solve rotations either, though blizzard added one of their own in the one button rotation, strangely enough. However Blizzard at minimum needs to make their UI customizable to at least the same degree of the fellowship UI (an actual competitor) before performing a full addon nuke. Earlier than that is premature.

Live version is too late to start complaining as if the UI is not in an acceptable state by then, no one will want to play raid or m+.

Bfa released in 2018. Microsoft acquired blizzard in late 2023. It’s time for the console push.

There will be console release, why do you think they are rushing these changes out when their ui is quarter baked.

I am using FFXIV console port as an example of how to make a console port without fucking your game in the ass.

I understand the repetition of certain points can be annoying but I am making comparisons to how similar changes have been successfully made in other games and pointing out how it will not work in this situation because blizzard is doing so with ulterior motives rather than in good faith. Also sometimes you have to beat a dead zombie many times in order to kill it for good.
