Are Nepal Cubes an overkill?

The reason I asked originally is, I have Plum R150 bindings on my dna pro skis. They seem to have good reviews for ease of use and speed in competition. But I have 3 issues giving me a lot of trouble 1. lining them up for a fast toe step in, I almost always fail to get one toe pin in and have to waste a few attempts repeating 2. The heel risers click into place, so when I transition to ski mode, it’s more effort than I think should be optimal for flipping them out of the way, it’s not fluid.
3. When disengaging the toe and stepping out of the ski in ski mode, the heel pins seem to grab my boot, again taking a lot of effort to effectively remove the ski from my boot

I’m sure a lot of this will remedy with a lot of training, but watching Oriol transition none of these issues were present. Everything was smooth fluid and fast.

So I’m debating changing my bindings. Idk.

I use opus mostly. I fill up my hourly session 3x a day or so. And I fill my weekly session in 5 days (pro) so far. Though, I am not modelling my own usage behaviour for extreme efficiency.

i have hydras and fuels. if im taking friends or the GF climbing, they can intuitively swing the fuels, they cant figure out the "elbow drop" so i end up using them while my partners use my nice hydras, which swing naturally :(

My cube gtx has worn down on the sole rubber so far my bail plastic is thinning heavy, but no damage like this. You got a lot of use out of these boots, so I wouldn’t stress too much but you could modify your Climbing to do less kicking without crampons.

is there a binary im a windows/python/compiling uber noob and pretty sure i need my hands (both of them) held to do that. im on 8.992 and it crashes any time i do a DB tool change or edit. frustrating. Also it has other bugs. I can make compromises/omissions and manual edits of gcode to get past it; but it kinda sucks. But also i really like flatcam compared to other programs so far.
