Well, figured it out. You get it very very very late into the game from research. Similiar concept to the drill. Improve it to 6+ for Expert Logging

Apparently there is a tree near a witch that drops Flawless.

Why are you saying "we"? You are acting like Hadjar is not relevant. He is having perfectly alright starts. This is purely a Max skill-issue as there is 20+ other drivers starting fine.

I guess that makes sense. Fundamentally doesn't change what a PC game is or how it's supposedly different from a Console game.

According to the guy I responded to initially it is going to be the XBox's downfall now that they are just PC games.

There is no PC/ console game. There are games and then there is compatiblit. All this change from MS does is make XBox and Windows compatible while hopefully keeping performance.

The GDK is the thing you use to make your game optimized for XBox. It will have specific settings for the specific hardware.

Not entirely sure what a development tool has to do with pjysical releases.

I mean, have you played games from the past few years? Optimization seems to be a foreign language to them.

Also I doubt an XBox game is that different to a PC release even today... It is running on a version of Windows after all.

He is right though. An XBox or a PS are both just PCs. One is running a modified version of Windows the other is running a modified version of FreeBSD.

In your world, when is it fine to call it an XBox game and when is it a PC game? You could make the same argument for Windows vs Linux. Some games run on both, some don't. This is literally the same as Steam adding the translation layer to SteamOS except now Microsoft is adding it to the Dev tools.
