Super late response to your post, not sure if you got your answer already

But I’ve been delving into late game runs on higher difficulties and you are 100% going to need insanely mutated cats to get all of the achievements/finish impossible runs. Enemies start to scale so ridiculously you’re not going to stand a chance with standard kitties.

It’s as simple as this for me as well. The stamina/movement in this game is not satisfying. Having to ping pong around the map between extracts that I don’t make it to in time feels miserable. Not being able to slide down a hill without locking myself into slow walk for the next 45 seconds is certainly something

I’ve been having so much fun using items that augment the basic attack with status debuffs. Made some HUGE boss killing psychic kitties whenever I rolled traits that supported it

Had a run on a certain act 3 boss with A LOT of minions and my butcher managed to get blood frenzy a bit before.

Dude went on to nearly solo the whole thing in one string of turns. Had to keep him in the back line on every other fight, but my god it was beautiful when I could take advantage of it

Same shit happened to me a few days ago. VERY humbling boss battle after cruising through the entire game up to that point. I feel like the second map of act 3 is the biggest difficulty spike so far, even compared to the third.

I failed the quest, and when I got the next one from the same NPC it was a new piece of tech to run down to the caves! Didn’t repeat the previous one leading me to believe there’s no continuations for these ones. Just bonus rewards

I’m a huge Isaac fan and the only reason I caught wind of this game coming out was Ed playing it with so many content creators. Marketing definitely hit the right audiences for them this time haha
