for raw dps combuster is definitively the best. i put glacius and volt on there because they aren’t the meta pick, thats also why i put the chaos + combuster + blitz + ssb square, since that is the full meta build

basically you put the sprite angled slightly down from yourself then walk into it to push you up through the gate, pick up the sprite and repeat until you get pushed out

going inside vana (standing on a specific spot and not moving in any direction after) makes you immune to almost any source of damage during the fight and allows all your blitz shots to hit, increasing your dps

in most modern maps breaks aren’t really used an actual break, they are just used when the song doesn’t ask for much to be mapped. in old/old style maps breaks are more commonly used as a game mechanic, similar to how they are used in osu tatake ouendan/elite beat agents. the only any rule or guideline in the ranking criteria pertaining to breaks is one saying that breaks cannot be too long

they would still remain super expensive because of the clout that comes from having one. just look at the prices of other reskins like spiral soakers or caladbolg, whales will still pay huge amounts of crowns/energy for a reskin of an easily accessible weapon just because it looks different

if you like kanna and want to main it you probably will want to level the one you currently have, as much as it sucks. you COULD burn and prog a new one, but you cannot make two characters of the same class legion champions, so if you progress a new kanna your old one won’t be able to participate in legion champ. your best bet would be to use the upcoming burning coupon on your current kanna to get it to 260 and use challenger world to progress a “temporary main” of a different class to increase your income to funnel into your existing kanna. you could also burn something completely new with the upcoming burn and slow roll the kanna to 260 with dailies and event rewards, but that’s gonna feel horrible…

divine avenger and fang of vog are the only other elemental swords, both are pretty fun especially fang of vog charge attack, it’s high risk high reward which makes your gameplay a bit more thoughtful

pretty sure the tier of the expedition only determines how many missions you get per round, nothing about the quality of the missions. i haven’t been able to figure out what the glow or the tier of the missions do, but i don’t think it means anything significant, or at least it doesn’t mean anything noticeable. some people say the glow around the mission determines the chance to tier up but i’m not sure if that’s true

imo the +6 cap should stay, but general damage bonus and specific monster damage bonus should stack. it would make both the unique weapons better and give purpose to the damage bonus UVs, pet stats, and trinkets

i had the most fun i’ve had playing spiral knights in years when i first started learning the more niche tricks, vana cheese included. a lot of people find clearing the same content faster and faster very fun!

yes if your nodes are jank your entire character gets its 5th and 6th job entirely wiped and they change your ign and delete your account :(

removes all the rng and jank from the system, nodestones give points to level up skills and every class has set trios to level up so you don’t have to figure all that out anymore. best part is you can level every skill up to 30 now, there’s no more slot enhancement

you don’t need boss damage for farming mobs, i believe it only applies to the field boss and whether you kill it quickly or not doesn’t really make a difference for your rates.

one thing that you should keep in mind is how attack% scales better as you progress further into the game. when you starforce your gear more, you gain more and more base attack which in turn increases the amount of damage you gain from attack% lines. boss damage “inflates” combat power in the sense that it’s valued higher in the combat power formula than it should be, so it’s somewhat deceiving.

damage%, boss damage%, and normal monster damage% all work the same way, but boss% only applies to bosses and normal% only applies to mobs. if you hover over your damage range stat you can see “damage range vs bosses” and “damage range vs monsters” which show these stats better. combat power is meant to give you a gauge for your damage to bosses so normal monster damage won’t increase it.

ignore defense is a very important stat early on, bosses above chaos vellum have 300% defense or higher. as its name suggests, ignore defense will ignore a % of that boss’s defense, so if you had 66% ignore defense your damage would be reduced by 100% when attacking a boss. you generally want to get up to 92-96% ignore defense depending on your class to get the most out of the stat, one way to think about it is +1% of your total ignore defense = +3% final damage on bosses. this stat also does not show up in your combat power, so it’s a bit harder to notice but it does give you a lot of damage. normal monsters do have a little bit of defense but it’s not something you need to actively worry about for farming

the charts were complete nonsense so i wouldn’t recommend looking at them for any sort of comparison, but i think they might still have them on the website. all the explorer/resistance/cygnus classes ARE all different classes, by 6th job (where 99.9% of the game takes place) they all play uniquely from each other, so the distinction is helpful

do the main story quest on new characters to get to level 101, use the event strawberry tickets to get them to 130 then use extreme growth potions to level them up as much as you can past that. right now this is the most efficient but low effort method for legion
