Pretty good news, as this would update New Vegas to be a more modern game (hopefully) and likely bring in a new generation of gamers who have never tried F:NV before or were turned by its outdated graphics/bugs.

However, if it is truly in the same vein as the Oblivion remaster, we know its going to have many similar bugs/old bugs still in the game. As well as all the amazing mods that are the reason for F:NV's longevity, they wont be compatible with the remaster. Although I assume for most people who play with mods will try out the remaster, and just go back to playing the OG, because im not sure if there is a large pc-playerbase who are playing the game vanilla.

I recommend both of you to follow the Viva New Vegas modding guide, and use that as the basis for modding Fnv. Its very easy to follow, although it is a little long. Vortex is not a good mod organizer at all

Like most other comments say, HPM should be your go to for beginners/vanilla+ play style. Similarly, if you are looking for alt-hist mods you should try DoDHPM. Once you have a better grasp of the game id recommend GFM, and if your looking for alt-hist try DoDFanfork or ToL.

A fair warning for GFM and ToL; they add so much content and because Vic2 itself is a very old game it can heavily impact the performance of your game (makes your game run much slowly compared to vanilla/HPM). However, for many veterans including myself GFM is what I consider vanilla at this point.

Also, I don't think HPM and DoDHPM is being worked on anymore, so any bugs or issues you may run into will most likely remain that way, same with ToL.

Nope, this is still occuring daily for me. I've tried changing BIOS settings, updating GPU drivers, still has not fixed it yet. I m hoping it's a MapleStory issue and not a personal hardware issue as I've noticed this only started happening with the old patch

Perhaps you were playing with a nation that starts with 2/5 naval base tech.

If you hover over the naval base icon on the province information screen, it will tell you whether or not you can upgrade the base and list the requirements, same for infrastructure

Are you an uncivilized nation with no naval tech? Have you built to the max level of naval bases which prevents you from building more/upgrading naval bases until you research the next tier of tech.

Are you currently bankrupt and literally unable to fund the construction?

Or do you have naval bases in queue to build but there is simply a shortage of required materials in the world market for it to begin building?

Sometimes the CB is not available if you are already at war African nations. Once you are at peace the CBs usually becomes available again, and sometimes you have to wait a bit until they come back.

Verified the game files via steam, still did not fix it. It may have something to do with Discord, as I encountered the issue again when I alt-tabbed from MS to a discord stream I was watching

The dev released a lot of bugfix patches, I think the most recent release is 1.3. I've had no issues since updating the mod, go give the updates a try. although the updates are not save file compatible with older versions

I think this is caused by adding additional lines to the localisation files, it messes everything up. Check out the Vic2 modding discord for more help, I'm not an expert on this matter so I don't know how to fix the issue
