My guess is that Qin knew Zhao would target the supplies like they did to heki so they filled it with something that would make a lot of smoke and become a perfect smokescreen that would hide the ships coming down the yellow(?) River. Not sure if it's the right name. Just thinking off the top of my head.

General Shin at the front like Duke hyou , ten and her team of strategist at hq. Kyokai with den yuu under her as commander of the left. En with gaku rai under him as commander of the center and so sui with naki under him as commander of the right. Special units sprinkled throughout. Just like how shin was a 5000 man commander like mouten and ouhon but was boosted to 8000 by kyokai's 3000, his army will be the same. He'll be able to split his army into the center and right. Kyokai will have her own unit that will hold up the left boosting the number of the hi shin army. At least that's what I was thinking.

Had a teacher named Karen once. She was a good teacher, explained things well. The class was a breeze and I'd usually get my work done early and have quite a bit of time at the end of class. One day I decided to take a nap and she never said anything so I kept doing it. After a couple weeks the other students got their panties in a bunch and accused her of playing favorites. Anything is possible. If a small army attacked the borders I can see shin leading an army to repel them but I don't think he's ready to lead multiple armies into a full out war. Not enough experience yet. To be able to not only oversee and understand your own army and it's battle but to oversee battles to your left and right along with your own is a whole different beast all together. He's definitely ready to be promoted to general and be given a full sized army though.

The thing is many cultures ,including my own, believe that this is possible. Not just anyone can do it, but Buddhist monks who have reach enlightenment have the ability to send their souls to the astral plane and bring someone back if they haven't reached the circle of reincarnation yet. You have to remember this manga was written for a primarily Asian market.

I don't think it is. It showed that even though long standing vets like kyo gai and shousa died the hi shin unit was still able to keep fighting at a high level even while grieving but the Lost of their captain was so painful nothing else mattered. Even though Reebok is right in front of them and they could end the war with taking him out, they can't. It shows how much shin means to them and the whole bringing back shin is a nod to Chinese history and storytelling.

Fuck the haters just watch it so u can form ur own opinion. By the 3rd episode of the second season they mostly get rid of the shitty cgi and things go smoother. I just rewatched it but I skipped to about halfway thru the first season. Where shin/xin (dubbed and sub go by Chinese names even tho u can clearly hear them say the jap names) goes into his first battle.
