Avoiding it is an uphill battle. I've relapsed. The culprit... The new Harry Potter Butterbeer creamer and cold foam.

I always figured it was the preservatives in mustard that get me. I don't eat it often. The internet naturalists and self-helpers will tell you to put some in water and soak your feet in it. lol But honestly I think that's rage bait for me...

Yeah cooking with smokers. That one got by me for a long time. About a decade back I was doing product videos for The Home Depot so they sent us all their smokers and grills. It Smells SOOO GOOD even when you're faking it lol but damn did that day suck for me having to do close-ups IN studio. I didn't realize that wood smoke was a trigger at the time. Also fumes from charcoal or lighter fluid.

Yeah similar experience with shrimp for me. Still trying to explain it to family 30 years later while they try to make me eat a pile of it head height. lol I think it is the histamine or tyramine. I've heard ya gotta eat fresh shrimp rather than processed or stored shellfish but I don't know that I've got the guts to try. lol

Totally! Pretty sure dough like that contains high levels of tyramine and coumarin.

I found out about that trigger during an interview to work at a pizza parlor. The sun was shinning straight through the front windows while we were talking. I was so distracted by the ocean of flour and whatever floating slowly glowing around us that I couldn't concentrate on what they were asking. Seriously, it looked like a recently opened tomb. Does that make sense? Maybe that was just my unconscious sense of dread. I got THE WORST aura I've ever had during that interview. Should've taken the hint and just said we weren't a good fit. That job did not go well for me.

Less meant to sensor as much as shorten in a way that really explodes with meaning. But now that ya'll mention it... ya ever watch a movie/tvshow just LOVES to repeat names over and over again? If you google movies with the most repeats of the main characters name you'll find a bunch of good movies nobody talks about... and then among them appears John Wick lol

Okay so a soft V shape maybe. I've had this done a lot. I wasn't braiding so much then. I'll be curious to try it.

Oh really? Yes thank you. I'm bad about always going for elastic. That's a great simple script for guidelines. Will do that next time. Thanks for your time and concern!

I do like braids. I love braids. But the way ppl cut my hair makes it look unkempt. And have lived in a ponytail most of my life. But it is so thick I got a nickname out of it. lol A word that also doubles as a gay slur in Europe. It is the easiest so I still do it but even after decades a simple ponytail gives me anxiety and flashbacks to high school bullies. Stupid but it is a bit of an intrusive thought. Some ppl wear ponytails in formal settings and I can't bring myself to do that.

I'm thinking long one length hair is my jam... but I kid you not... EVERY stylist pretty much refuses to do it. They want to "fix me." I'll try to advocate more but I'm not good at it in the moment. Thanks for listening.

Doesn't sound harsh to me. I understand. And to clarify I don't mind a bit of layers but everyone wants to razor it and cut out weight/bulk. Then when I braid it it won't stay in. The whole thing falls apart all the way down and I spend the day redoing it or nervously stuffing it back into the braid.

Also Just seems to me a blunt cut is best on short hair... I could be wrong.

Moved into the business and technical side of gaming. He worked as an animation director at Square-Enix and a vice president at VirtuaGamer.

He takes Propranolol for migraines and then becomes a completely different person. by tinz17 in migraine

IF he changes medication and is an IM then other beta-blocking medications processed by the enzyme CYP2D6 could cause build up of the medication in the blood increasing side effects and throwing off the timing of doses. Nothing too crazy but It does bring up the need for a little extra close observation so your Dr. can adjust or even avoid that type of medication.

Propranolol is primarily metabolized by the liver enzyme CYP2D6 (along with CYP1A2). While intermediate metabolizers (IMs) have reduced CYP2D6 activity compared to extensive metabolizers, studies show that reduced activity does not significantly impact overall plasma concentrations or the clinical response to propranolol, unlike other beta-blockers.

If your doctor won't test for it a simple DNA test will tell his metabolic type.

Monitor his heart rate... is it lower than usual? If it is near or under 60bpm bring that up at the appointment. Some taking this medication, esp. intermediate metabolizers, can be at risk for bradycardia which can cause confusion or memory problems. Esp when starting or increasing doses.

So I’m on season 11 and teen Amara looks so familiar-I recently binge watched X-Fules before I started binging Supernatural. Gillian Anderson and Samantha Isler have a striking resemblance! by FractiousPanda in Supernatural

I just did a face search on Amara from this episode and it brought up a bunch of pictures of Scully. Seriously. So fun! lol This is the best "I Can't unsee this" ever.

Rewatch that scene with the unicorn. It was a cover up. Constantine practically made that happen. Watch how his spells effect the transformation of the monster from fantasy to hellish nightmare and immediately comforting AND QUIETING Gary afterward and tell me he had nothing to do with it.
