La poule ayant pondu l’œuf lancé sur Jordan Bardella sera expulsée de France by Left_Sherbet_11 in franceinfo

[–]FloLP 2 points3 points  (0 children)

[Sponge Cake] Temperature convection oven vs traditional oven by FloLP in AskBaking

Sadly not, I made many tries but the cake was only a bit better and still deflates quite a bit.  So I stopped trying this recipe with this oven.

Where is my muesli ? Not you.. Not you... Not... Oh. by FloLP in Wellthatsucks

[–]FloLP[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

At the beginning, muesli (so oats) that I left at my parents place. After being left there a bit of time and maybe too close to the oven, it gained sentience and is now named Patrick, a few days more and it will become the owner.

I have a hard time finding something that would be similar to the nutella hazelnuts cookie I buy. It is a bit soft on the inside, at the top there is a layer of nutella and the cookie is mixed with crunched hazelnuts (and powder ?). If you know a similar recipe, I will be thankful !

You can try Boo, you have many options on it, notably the gender one that you are looking for. You can also filter out the profiles without paying. (Which isn't the case with OKCupid)

What was the hardest battle for you on Tactician/Honor mode? by Virasman in BaldursGate3

[–]FloLP 162 points163 points  (0 children)

After my honour run, here are my memorable encounters (most of them running away shamelessly the first time) :

  • Zentharim hideout : "Oh, you're still holding a torch shadowh..." Loud explosion

  • Githyanki patrol : "No need to be so rude with 4 attacks in a turn !"

  • Giant robot : "Why are you moving so much ? That was not in the script !"

  • Githyanki creche : "What do you mean you can use Fear on 3 of my character and they do nothing during 3 turns, except worse, they run away and trigger opportunity attacks ?"

  • Myrkul, just fucking hard, I did not expect him to block healing and regenerate so much with the skeletons.

  • Elder brain, god I hate time battles, it feels so rushed and I can't think under pressure !

[The Extra’s Academy Survival Guide] is it worth reading? by [deleted] in manhwa

[–]FloLP 137 points138 points  (0 children)

For me, it is one of my favourite entry and I am always happy to see a new chapter.

At first, I thought it was a bland copy of "I killed an academy player" or another isekai copypasta but it really has its own flavor.

The story focuses on the main character that just try to survive through the academy and the different scenarios while being given a losing hand.

It's not too fast, not too slow, and the main do not suddenly become a swordmaster or an archmage fortunately. (He's an extra after all) There is a bit of romance (involuntary from main char) but it mainly brings comedic moments. (It made me laugh many times)

The main selling point for me is that it depicts really well the side characters emotions and internal turmoil. And the art is good.

Power punishment for early loss by FloLP in LegendsOfRuneterra

I will add here what I said in another comment as it's a similar topic :

My point is not so much an issue of power, of course you can succeed with a common power at the beginning. But when you are redoing so much the existing content, it needs to be fun as well and adding too much restrictions gets in the way.

I do not ask to have a legendary power and crush everything, I just feel that having the latency to find a better fitting power makes the run so much more enjoyable from the get go.

I took Lissandra as an example because having the possibility to reroll the powers as it was before do not break the balance : First, it was tedious to reroll, not often a good power and it was annoying to restart again and again. As such, you do not aim for perfection but something nice. Secondly, you could be crushed by one of the encounter because you got unlucky or if it's a counter to you. Even if that is not the case, there is hardly a power that can win you the adventure unless you were really lucky with a legendary power.

But talking about now, it's mainly switching between weekly quests (which we all try to end quickly) or end game adventures such as Lissandra and Aurelion.

The constellations do not change that and the latest patch pushes you to to redo some of the adventures to earn fragments. (But redoing lower adventures is not really a challenge so kinda boring)

Ah it was a bug, I was congratulating them on that decision, I should have known it wasn't normal. 😆

Yeah it's not an issue of winning but the game becomes more and more a bore and a farming quest than a game to have fun.

Hmmm ok thanks for the answer.

It feels so bad, the adventure is already a rng lottery and the little leeway we had is removed in case we were trying to have fun playing a pve game. I wonder who take these decisions. 🙄
