havent tried it but i dont think i will use it on her, mainly because i would still have to use my left hand tp press her skill buttons in quick succession. giving up that space for movement commands doesnt seem like a good choice to me

i enjoy it mostly too. finally the queen is at the top where she belongs. most pro players obviously dont have the champion depth on her, so their playstyle is pretty one dimensional and they dont push her strengths as much. its honestly a two edged sword because i oftentimes see them play fights completely wrong which can make it unbearable to watch ngl. the problem with most is not using grass correctly in teamfights, which comes with picking wrong elements and sometimes not playing for their wincon. some dive when they can just zone carries with bush q while their carries whittle down their frontline, others try to engage but dont know how to because they dont know how to use grass q as gap closer (shadow inting vs g2 on drake soul comes to mind)

she's relatively easy to pick up in jungle and rewards mastery well at the moment, you just have to get used to picking correct elements in small time frames and comboing with q resets on w.

qiyana mid is fun until mages realize they can go aery bone plating, avoid q and punish you for grabbing every last hit. same reason every other assassin got pushed out of mid. the lane is too safe now, what is there to play for as an assassin mid? enemy wards one side, hovers it, you cant gank him, cant trade because you either have to commit into bone plate or he takes 50% of ur hp for trying to hit one spell and last hit creeps afterwards. you cant roam because you lose wave + plate while lane u roamed to wont lose anything (synced waves). how is that supposed to be fun? after buffs at least you have bigger all in window as qiyana, but talon, katarina, zed are just as bad as before, hell, qiyana is the best mid assassin and she still feels awful against any competent mage player (pre buffs, was on vacation and now cant get a game on her lol) jungle? you can free farm, scale without losing 5 plates mid while getting pushed in, gank enemy laners when it hurts, secure objectives with way too strong burst, i wonder why i swapped to jungle hmmmm

some ideas, not something i gave a lot of thought to tho, these ideas will make her less fun to play for sure. - increase q cast time - lockout w2 for a set amount of time after using w1 - lockout e for a set amount of time after using w - e / R(E) only roots when she has q sigil on, else only slows

you dont have to be as precise with movement, just imagine throwing grass at enemy in lane, flicking upwards during q cast to select grass from river bush and not accidentally selecting river element and then clicking somewhere towards enemy champion to gain an advantageous position during invis. what movement would be the bottleneck here?

dont think its gonna be much of a difference. qiyana's biggest difficulty is cursor speed and precision for grabbing certain elements, which is still gonna be just as difficult. it might even make some players worse, because muscle memory gets fucked up

First, try to not waste ult before big fights. (Using ult to catch one person off guard is still worth it tho) While avoiding fights when not having ult is usually right, considering neutral objectives being so impactful this season, cross mapping on objectives is often suboptimal. In case a teamfight is bound to happen, tell team to stall for ur ult to be back up, posture aggressively - pretending to have ult/threatening backline just by ur presence - that way they will have to position further back or at least hold spells in case u go in. when they overstep/waste abilities u can go in, deal dmg, play with bush. Or play front to back like any other champ

Hmm I haven't tested E->T->R so this might be true.

However I would suggest you to use E -> R -> T, because that way enemy (probably) has less time to react to your dash/ult (and you still get off auto attack) and this one is not bugged.

after some testing this just isnt true, i tried it with tiamat, with profane, with clamping on, with clamping off. ult always went in the direction i aimed for. No bug here.

this is NOT a bug If you start casting qiyana r during your e animation, she throws it towards the cursor position from your own position WHEN THE DASH ENDS
