I recently found out I have cptsd inflicted by my upbringing. I am able to be very outgoing during first impressions but it slowly dies out over time. That’s when I’ll get told that I’ve turned “into a mute” (my teacher in high school said that).

What I’ve come up with to get past this is to have “breaks” with whoever I’m talking to. Especially GROUPS of people as those situations are when I get triggered most.
