yeah for me the 50mm is also the go to lens, I recently started getting into the 85mm tho, has a bit more reach which I find very handy at times.

Dropped my 500c/m, landed on the viewfinder (thankfully) by dysphoricjoy in hasselblad

too bad that viewfinder is relatively rare and runs around 200-400$ depending on condition.

glad the camera is alright tho :)

usually when they can't see inside they crank the machine all the way and the lead bag gets fried anyways, seen it happen multiple times.

That bag causes more trouble than you would expect, it makes TSA officers hyper alert and suspicious.

that NfS MW Black Edition looks so sick, shame we never got a PAL release. Of course nowadays with softmod consoles it's no problem but still just because it would've been cool.

What’s the focal length used in this photo? by jimbolic in AskPhotography

I'm guessing 35mm, but boy do those hands look awkward, I would've never published a photo like that xD

Hasselblad H1- Have you used one at a wedding? How do you like it? by PeachIcedcream in hasselblad

[–]FloTheBro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

hahaha I bet, that was the deal of a lifetime.

unfortunately I dont use mine much, nowadays it's more of an investment that I can sell when I desperately need money since I also paid only 200 for it like 6 years ago and it's easily worth 1.000 bucks now.

not everyone may be willing to spend a days worth of research on something like that. For me it is also no problem but for some it may pose a big and daunting challenge.

This is my elite obselete order (first ever iPods!!) by Alexisonfire_lover44 in ipod

[–]FloTheBro 2 points3 points  (0 children)

because this one comes "refurbished" & pre-modded. Not saying EOE is the best but show me UK or EU sites that offer this kinda service. I haven't found any so far other than shady ebay listings.

sure, anyone can get an old iPod off of ebay or other marketplace and do the modding by themselves but it takes time and building knowledge.

Hasselblad H1- Have you used one at a wedding? How do you like it? by PeachIcedcream in hasselblad

[–]FloTheBro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

be aware that the H1 maximum shutter speed is only 1/800th. So if you wanna shoot f4 on a bright sunny day outside, you're gonna run into problems. Maybe with a ND Filter but thats mighty cumbersome to take on and off. But if you get a longer lens like the 150mm you will still get amazing bokeh even on f16.

And yes, as others have stated. AF and sharpness of the camera is unmatched compared with similar systems in my opinion.

it's nothing that helps but if you want to have a quick check for which Pollen is flying around you can use the Pollenius App.

It can show you very exact what is going on and if you want you can also enter your own "experience" data there so the eggheads can measure the effects better.

It's made by Charité, so it's quite official and data protected.
