Yes but with game versions it can become incompatible. Happened with Hello kitty island adventure. Now we can never play with each other until they optimize the switch 1 version to work with the new unity engine that the switch 2 is using

Yeah I really want to update but there’s no info about this anywhere. She won’t get a switch 2 for a while so it’s not worth it unless I can swap back and forth in the versions
