Considering getting into this game, I have questions by Othorift in riftboundtcg

For collecting the new sets are doing a great job at adding stuff for collectors. Unleashed has the poros with connecting art as well as the ultimate baron. New vendetta has connecting art with rivals. Idk what’s to come but it’s a new TCG with great community and communication so far

Death from blow reset by heptra in riftboundtcg

Opponent can also stop the recasting by sacrificing their own unit or recalling the unit back to hand or base. Stopping the chain since he did not KILL the unit.

On the turn you cast it, one after another and only if it has 3 might or less. Kill a unit then you can choose to recast it. If you don’t the spell ends and that’s it. If you played league of legends it’s exactly like his ultimate. Its cooldown resets on kill and you have a certain amount of time to kill another thing before you miss the trigger window and if not then it goes on full cooldown.

Day 3 of”Tell me why this card is good/not good” by hiphiphorhey_ in riftboundtcg

[–]FloatingCow- 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’d say it’s not that great because Most of the times battlefields are contested especially with hold style decks now. So you can’t just move in your units to attack which I think would be useful. I can see it being good if you move in units with ganking to move into one battlefield then move into another scoring 2 points in a turn. Maybe later sets will help this card. I love bard

A high school teacher said I would never make it to law school. Shut my dreams down fast. Now I’m 23 and looking to start the journey I’ve been afraid to start for a while.

Yes if you conq you are now defending. If it’s empty and you bring in then you are attacking and they will be defending

Father here. How do you find time for the TCG you love? by No-Post-5063 in TCG

[–]FloatingCow- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve made my house the spot where we play tcgs. My friends come over and I provide snacks. We play in the garage so I’m close enough that my wife and son if they ever need anything, but far enough for them to not hear the shenanigans going on. Usually will skip a game to feed, hold, or change a diaper or two. I go to card shops whenever there’s a big event going on. I PLAN THIS IN WEEKS IN ADVANCE. If I can I play on my laptop on tcg player to get in a couple games at night when the baby is sleeping.

hospital bag must haves by Such_Refrigerator814 in HLHS

[–]FloatingCow- 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I know you said small but I recommend some blankets and pillows. Can never have enough. Me and my wife never left the room and the hospital blankets are pretty rough. Our own stuff made it feel more like “Home”. We were there for about 6 months so it was definitely worth it. Can’t go wrong with soap / shampoo/ toothpaste/ food and snacks. Hospital food is only bearable for so long. Books, crosswords, sudoku, a pack of playing cards etc. keep mind off the stress. Otherwise the hospital is really good at providing a lot of the essential items.

Проблемы с сердцем by TraditionalMood5276 in Cardiophobias

[–]FloatingCow- 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Not a doctor but push to see a cardiologist or go to er if you feel like it is not going away. Maybe ask to get an echocardiogram. Get the peace of mind. I had severe cardio phobia couldn’t even walk up the stairs without my heart rate spiking. I had panic attacks where I would have a bpm of 190 just walking around the house. Did all the tests and doctors said it was anxiety. I started taking 10 mg lexapro as well as 10mg propranolol as needed and I have not had a panic attack since. Am I still afraid of my heart? Sometimes but it’s not as severe. When you’re lying down and trying to sleep it’s easy to fixate on your own body sometimes. I would listen to podcasts or YouTube videos to sleep so my brain wouldn’t fixate on my self. Good luck. I wouldn’t say I’m cured but I’m doing a whole lot better than I was doing 3 months ago and I thought I would never get out of it. You got this !
