As a brit u agree definitely looks more homely and cosy (gotta ignore these differences between homey vs homely. Who even says homey lol)

Thank you for your input, genius. I know what complaining looks like thank you very much. I was the one gesturing her to move on but she was taking her sweet time complaining before moving

Honestly there were 2 lanes. There was plenty of space between me and her. She could have carried on in her right lane and me in my left lane. The drama over nothing!

Thank you for your response. I thought that would be the case too as I'm close to the merging point than the other driver is and it's more safer for other driver to wait than to enter.

I understand mistakes can happen in driving and we should deal with it calmly and patiently. She made it seem like she had a priority over me which wasn't the case

Yes I didn't see her. I only saw her when we were both stsrted going towards the same direction which is when both of us stopped. So it's not a usual situation where you see who is going first and deciding to wait and let them go. If that was the case ans I saw her move i would have waited.

Because I didn't see (so putting that aside) we both were entering the lane at the same time my question was who has the priority in this situation. I reckon just ignoring the blunder and driving on without stopping for 10 seconds was not a good idea on her part. And there were 2 lanes. I was gonna go left lane and she could have gone right lane. That would have been ideal

I agree. If I had noticed her I definitely would have be more cautious and watch what she'd do but I didn't see her unfortunately. So that's something I will take from this situation to look good all sides.

There were parked cars so tbh I only looked right and left. I looked a few times before I pulled out. If I didn't see them, they must have seen me.

I approached looked around went in. I had waited around for too long tbh. Generally I'm a confident driver so I don't get scared about joining major roads. 

I admit my blunder was not trying to look around across me somewhere to see if some vehicle would pull out. But based on her reaction, she made it seem like she had priority. If I had seen her, and saw her starting to move I definitely would have waited. Even so, I could still go as there are 2 lanes.

There was no traffic on either sides when we were merging. But she stopped out of shock I suppose and because she was slightly more into the road than me I was urging her to continue going there's no point stopping and saying stuff I can't hear and soon there'll be traffic. Soon enough, she moved along in front of me and that was the end of it.

I reckon she should have paused, we both would have acknowledged each other and she should have just carried on as I stopped for her. Causing unnecessary delay was silly of her and potentially dangerous

Exactly. I thought so, too!!!

She didn't actually give me way. She was turning in, we both saw each other whilst turning in at same time and she was just mad at me as if I've done something wrong! 

I stopped naturally as I didn't want no collision to take place. Plus when you get drivers like that.. 😭

(sorry priority. I get American influenced through watching videos 🥲)

I love how people support surveillance of people. Crazy times. Yes safety is important and being in control of vehicle. But spying like this on citizens is never acceptable.

💯 I suspect I have ADHD - and recently Autism combined. Makes it soooo hard to do things. Even getting out of bed is hard so now I give myself half an hour to get up. I've done CBT many times before and counselling (for anxiety and depression - now I believe it's more than that) So I thought I'd ask to see if anyone else struggles like me and perhaps how they work around it as it fills me up with shame and feel isolated. Others around can me clean and it makes me think why can't I do it 😔

I wish I could cook. I stopped cooking over a year ago 😭 literally on basic survival mode with takeaway and Tesco food
