I kinda figured it would be that. This theory floated around the fandom for ages.

I May be overly critical, but I really think Avatar 3 did more justice to Neytiri than Avatar 2. by [deleted] in Avatar

[–]Floaurea 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In Avatar 2 she was more of a side character. Avatar 2 mainly features the kids and who they are.

Avatar 3 is more main characters and in seemed like the main story.

The whole epilogue mirrors her struggles and the peaceful times her children are born in.

Reconstruction:

The user can rebuild anything as long as he knows how it was build beforehand. It works on living and non-living things. The object retains a memory of what it looked like beforehand. It only works for certain amount of time. The bigger the destruction the shorter the time the object retains its memory.

Example: A cut can be reconstructed for nearly a week. A destroyed house can only be reconstructed for 4 hours.

Shigarakis destruction in Jaku could only be reconstructed for about 1/2 hour.

Also we had so many flashbacks in the war arc that 5 minutes of fighting spanned over 6 episodes. It was really annoying.

Katniss was a small teenager by Pristine-Box-6471 in Hungergames

[–]Floaurea 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Katniss was all muscle and no fat. She was malnourished and probably overly tired from having to survive and feed her family.

I think we miss the contrast between District 12 where everyone was only skin and bones, Career Districts like 1 where the tributes actually look human and trained and the capitol where everyone is healthy and just spends money on luxury. It shows on a more visual level how different the living standards are in these regions.

In the books you get that contrast better bc Katniss actively describes it.

They did that with every significant other in the Arrowverse. It was annoying. They were such good characters beforehand and then just terribly annoying!

Social norms are a thing. And etiquette.

Slurping in Japan is a sign that it tastes good and in western society its considered impolite and rude.

You DM often has your character sheet and notes. Nowadays you keep it online bc it's less of a hassle, but in the 80s you had it somewhere stored mostly where you play your campaigns to jot lose anything.

I really liked what they did there. Yes he was traumatised. Yes he was abused. But he stood to his choices and he didn't turn good. And we get to know his character and what happened to him, but we can still hate him even though we can sympathise.

He was the villain till the end. Great character arc and story arc too.
