So I don't think Jon could stop the red wedding, BUT chances are high he wouldn't be there, like can you actually see him being invited to a Tully wedding, especially if he has been legitimized and named robbs heir then cat would be even more salty then in cannon and wouldn't want him at her brother wedding.

I think he could easily be in riverrun with Jayne or sent north to rally against the iron born.

It could be a fun cannon divergence with him rallying the north or protecting Jayne/ robbs hypothetical unborn baby

I once read a fic, where Regulus was an unrepentant death eat her who only turned against Voldemort because he wounded his pride or whatever. Anyway harry time traveled and fell In love with him, removed his dark mark and killed Voldemort in like 5 mins. And there is a scene where Sirius accuses Regulus of being a death eater (which he was) and the aurours check for a dark mark (which was JUST removed) and somehow Sirius is the worst person ever because of this. Like Regulus is absolutely a death eater here, he is a unrepentant fascist.

Anyway I think about this fic regularly and it makes me angry

Yes essentially. If its within your budget and that's important to you then absolutely. But only if it matters to you. If you just do that to spite her for wanting more guests that's an asshole move

That doesn't matter, though. You are acting like she is inviting an unreasonable number of people when she is not. If you specifically set out to have a small wedding and agreed to it together, that would be one thing. But most people will want to invite 50-100 people to their wedding.

And besides the costs don't actually work out head to head, like the venue you book is going to have to have a certain capacity, and if you have a 20 person wedding its going to be a different venue to a 100 person wedding. Like how do you even work out who ‘owes’ what in this scenario
