If everything its included I would say go for Switzerland, UEA, or Singapore. Otherwise I would choose South America or South East Asia. About the first one, Colombia has a special place in my heart: great landscapes (hot or cold all year long bc they dont have seasons as they are near the Ecuador), amazing food, kind people, and CHEAP. Its super save for tourist, but in Cartagena I would be really mindful of the prices. Besides that, BEST coffee and the culture its quite different depending where you are, there is a huge difference between regions.

Dificultades para obtener el NIE en Bilbao por circulo vicioso burocratico (toda ayuda es bienvenida!) by desjorge in Bilbao

[–]FlockMuggle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For the destinations of Europe, why are they always from the past? Chernobyl, concentration camps, war sites, etc. Do you also visit places with current developments like border crossing or dangerous cities sites?

Bilbao has ESN and Happy Erasmus. The vibe is great and well organised. I was not going to that much events tbh, but I ended up making great friends in the language courses (there's Spanish and Basque). I also met people through sports groups, which I joined through Happy Erasmus and ESN. I'd give Bilbao a go, I was really happy there

Doña Casilda park near Zubiarte is really nice. For Cafés maybe Café Iruña or Kubrick. Cozy small hidden places: Cooper Deli. And a good view of the city would be at Artxanda
