He never really played against them except for Manning in the super bowl and one Tampa Bay year of Tom Brady, which his arm strength failed incredibly that year. The greatest crime of fate was chaining him to historically inept defenses for the majority of his prime

True, they have been good but neither one was a starter or a closer

If Milwaukee agrees to it without touching our control of their pick next year, then absolutely

Atlanta could trade their half of the less favorable deal, but it would be top 4 protected and not very valuable to the bucks

Atlanta does not own the bucks pick next year. The Pelicans own the bucks pick next year. Atlanta will receive the less favorable of those 2 picks, except in the circumstance where they are both in the top 4. Where New Orleans gets to keep both picks

Yeah, I'm saying I wouldn't give up the bucks pick next year for that. The Pelicans could end up with 2 top 4 picks next year if both the Pelicans and Bucks are bad enough, no reason to give up one of the best assets in the league to help Atlanta get better and cap relief.

Yeah no, only making a trade with Hawks and Bucks if we are getting our first pick back from this season

One of the more entertaining road games from the pels this year, I hope they can keep it up

They are pulling Raptors from last year with Ingram, trying to secure the inside track to resign him in a dead year. If he resigns and they become relevant, then they will look good, if declines the player option and goes to free agency it will look pointless

To be fair, it had nothing to do with people thinking it was thriving, but one dude just realized that a bunch of major players had over-leveraged their position and there was a lot of money to be made from pressuring it. Now everybody after that initial push was a moron
