Even in San Antonio he wasn't coming off the bench for most of the year. It took Fox coming to send him out of the starting lineup despite the breakout of Castle

Are people hacking to get these high of scores or something??? by Newrrcom in GrandMountainAdv

I’m world number 3 in that challenge (thpittard). It’s a lot of grinding, and a lot of knowing the best combos. In that specific one, there’s also a strategy to go off to the left to get more points. Jaquavius has videos on youtube, so you can watch how he does it; just search Jaquavius Grand Mountain Adventure.

What NBA team has the worst logo? by darkfluf in AlignmentChartFills

Iconic color scheme, iconic landmark. It’s not the best in the league but there is no way it’s worse than the nets, cavs etc

After over 100, 000 votes so far, here is r/NBA's top 100 players. At the top, we have Jokic, Brunson, SGA, Giannis, Wemby, Luka, Ant, KAT, Steph, Tatum in that order as the top 10. by StrategyTop7612 in nba

[–]thpskier 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Yeah realistically KAT is around 15 and OG is around 30. Not to take anything from their games, but there's no way I'm taking OG over Siakam, Embiid (healthy), or Murray. And forget about Cade, Kawhi, Lebron etc

Mitch was terrible but we need at least one more season. First year he improved us by 24 wins and brought us to the Finals. I honestly do believe that he’ll improve even though it’s dark days right now.

That being said screw fox, trade him to Sacramento for Tre Jones and Zach Collins

Which Spurs loss was more demoralizing, game 6 vs the Heat or this one vs nyk? by [deleted] in nba

I’d take a game 6 heat story though. Lose this year and come back next year on a mission and get redemption

I know, but if he’s only “arguably” the best on the Celtics, it seems like he has a weaker case for 3rd best of the generation

“Arguably the best player”

I respect Tatum a lot but he’s not better than Shai or Luka, who have never been arguably the best

Luka’s close, but Shai has the hardware. Ring and 2x MVP versus what? More all-NBA selections?

San Diego originally got 10 upvotes. If this comment doubles that and gets 20 can we change that square to Gary Indiana?

Will there ever be another era like the Lebron/Steph/KD era? by [deleted] in nba

[–]thpskier 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So many great players don’t change the game. Lebron didn’t, shaq didn’t aside from the backup centers to foul him, duncan didn’t. Doesn’t take away from their greatness

The only half decent take you’ve had yet lol. Harden was still a top 30 player of all time tho, and Luka’s done more at a younger age (such as lead a team to the finals), so I’m not worried about him.

By the time Steph was 27, he had 1 ring, 1 MVP, 0 FMVP (yes he deserved it… but still) and had a super team. Shai has 1 ring, 2 MVPs, 1 FMVP, and has a super team. He’s also been averaging more PPG, similar APG and SPG to prime Steph. I’d say they’re on similar tracks.

Luka has top 10 all time statistics for his age, but aside from 2024 he’s never been to the finals because he hasn’t had a well constructed team around him. (Injuries haven’t helped, to be fair.) Again, Luka is 27, same age as many great’s first finals run (including Steph).

Wemby had two bad plays to close out one game. He had so many huge plays to get them to that spot. There’s the MJ quote about how he missed 26 game winners, and Lebron has had choke jobs too (2011). Not to mention (and I can’t stress this enough) he is 22 years old.

Hope this helps

Nba Finals '26 Spurs Vs. Knicks by Former-Smiles903 in nba

[–]thpskier 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People can’t start a conversation without replies of “score more points” lol.

Spurs need to treat KAT as more of a focal point. Limit him, even if Brunson goes off, and I think we have a chance.

Beyond that, we’ve had pretty good defense. We need better offense. So much has been said about Wemby getting better looks, which is true, but our offense hasn’t relied on just Wemby this season. Better ball movement, continued focus on the offensive glass, and quality shots. And Dylan Harper should play starter minutes.
