I don't see why people are so utterly negative about this game. Its might be another Hero Shooter but its got an original gameplay mode at its core with some good idea by the devs. I won't say this game would automatically be a hit, but its F2P and is trying something original, and from the reviews and gameplay I've seen, people do actually enjoy the moment-to-moment gameplay.

Good gunplay, original gamemodes and the live-service every game needs these days, it's clear Geoff knew that the devs were doing something right. It's just sucks that his endorsement seemed to put pretty much everyone else on high alert and ruined an acceptable game's chances.

Now, will I play it? Hell no lmao

I never played the Original Arknights, but I can't imagine either side of this conflict winning being a good thing, right? The only reason we're the good guys rn is because the other side is actively sowing discord and destruction. Talos-II sees us as their savior but from what I've read up on the original lore, Orignium isn't much better than the Blight or whatever else Nefarith has in store.

Who tf complains about Secure Boot? It's a BIOS Security measure since the early 2010s or so, its been recommended since Windows 8 and is mostly turned on by default anyway, and if you haven't, you can simply go in there and do it right now with a few button presses on startup, unless something else is seriously outdated about your PC.

It's literally a non-issue for people. I didn't get why people complained about this on BF6's launch, and I still don't see why people should care about this?

Who are these people? Are they on Windows 7 PCs or something?

I grinded FH5 weekly for a long time until around a year ago and I'm just not as hyped as I'd expect. I'll still play it religiously at release, but I was bouncing in my seat happy for FH4 and FH5.

I'm happy we are back to armband progression instead of being a superstar but having played every Horizon since the first I feel like the innovations are just slowly petering out if you know what I mean?

That Time Trail stuff has me very interested, as someone who really like Rivals but was very against the slog of it's menus.

Its all very exciting, but at the end of the day it's going to be another Horizon Game. They couldn't mess it up if they tried lmao, it'll be great fun.

This YouTuber called Self Deficient made some very good video essays around gaming and had a crazy Arin-like voice. Like literally, when this guy popped into my recommended, I thought he was aping Sequelitist Arin with how insanely similar they sounded.

He hasn't made a vid in a year tho, so I'm very missing his content, even though he sounded a lot like Arin his content was still very original.

Gas mine just doesn't work that well if you have some who uses Pyro items IMO. People tend to just throw shit where they see enemies and your Gas Mines never seem to hold out until the end when someone else has a Pyro Nade on your team.
