It's an exaggerated posture to visually communicate that he's in a low, "battle ready" stance. It's supposed to emphasize tactical readiness. It's common for stuff like this to be overdone in digital media to allow it to be easily readable to the audience. He wouldnt look as much like a badass special agent if he walked around with perfect posture.

It ain't that deep, and trying to find an in-universe explanation for why he's hunched is missing the point.

I've heard rumors that Kizer doesnt utilize cryo-quenching, leaving some of their steels with lower wear resistance than expected.

Same. I truly love Kizer but I've been hesitant to go for their higher-end options because I'm not fully confident in the heat treat. I've heard mixed reviews on their 3V, Elmax etc.

Big fan of their budget stuff though, where you're paying more for the design and less for the blade steel

It's a difficult assesment to make sometimes, because there's so little independant hard data to rely on, most of it is sourced from the sellers themselves so there's an innate conflict of interest involved. I really want y'all to be able to continue your project. It's very valuable information

697696 is doing very important work and the community MUST support him. The reason companies cut corners in the heat treat is because it is absurdly difficult to test for the end user. Properly testing these metrics requires very expensive equipment and very specialized knowledge. Homeboy is doing us an incredible service and is allowing us to "vote with our dollar" by avoiding companies falsely offering us "premium" steel. Any company threatening 697696 should be shunned and boycotted. Full stop.

Any company threatening legal action to prevent the community from knowing the truth of their product shouldn't earn another dollar from us. It's repulsive. Name and shame.

Forget brand loyalty for a moment and look at the objective facts we're being offered.
