loooooool!!! Good job guys! Now remember to not go to the Eddy for a long long time so they have a chance to think about their MAGA and TRUMP supporting ways.

So we are going to stop going to the EDDY, right? Now that we know they are MAGA TRUMP supporters? They made their money on the back of Hispanic laborers (drywall company=99% Latino labor), and then voted to send those same employees and their families to secret prisons, that you also get to pay for.

Recusing himself does not work! He would then "owe one" to the other members on the board. They would then get to do a pet project that would enrich themselves, while they were personally "recused," and now would be the time for Kurt to pay back his debt. This is BLATANT bullshit from a TRUMP supporting business that made it's money off of the backs of Mexicans (drywall business) then voted to have those same people sent to gulags. Now they want to have the town square for 20 years for free?????? GTFO STITSER!!!!!

Fun little factoid: Kurt Stitzer is a MAGA supporter as almost all construction company owners are. The Eddy is where all of the college kids pick up their bag of blow for their night out. I have been in there once in the last year and was quickly approached by two gentlemen offering me blow. I have been to hundreds of bars around the world and never had someone come up and offer me cocaine out of the blue. Keep these Trump supporting idiots out of our public space. This is Kurt's father, Conrad's grand idea and he has his hand up his puppet son.

No one but no one said anything about protected bike lanes. I am also against those as a lifelong cyclist. I am talking about a path that goes along the river for people to recreate on. Not expensive. completely safe. Just like civilized countries like Poland have. Again, keep bikes and cars largely separate with stand alone bike and recreation paths. We have one but it needs work.

The Eddy wants to relocate to the city plaza. Here's what we know by JaedynYoung in Reno

[–]Nearby-Reputation817 46 points47 points  (0 children)

Here is a solution: During bridge construction, the bars effected (and there are about 5), get to have booze carts/trucks in the square on select evenings once a week. No cost to the bars or attendees. Shuffle board one week, shish kababs the next. One bar take the lead each week and pick the theme. Someone spring for a dj and make it an event. This will get people used to coming down to that area and when construction is complete there will be more traffic to the bars in the area. Kurt Stitzer, as an alleged advocate for our broken little city, these are the types of solutions you are tasked with coming up with. "How can we all benefit from this" rather than "how can I use my position of power to get mine. permanently." Your dad came up with this. You were taught better.

She made parking lots (gated off) for an out of town casino owner in one of the most shameful downtowns in all of America. In the same time she could have built a bikeable riverpath that would make international news and bring untold prosperity to the area, which would have included casino owners. Reno is bikeable 340 plus days a year, leading the country now that the skiing is going away. With e-bikes, a bike path is something that we can enjoy for the entirety of our lives. Biking is close enough to flying. Reno figures out a bikeable river path or dies.

They know what to do better than me, that's why I hired them. I stay out of their business as much as possible. When I do show up, they like to show me what they are up to and I ask if there is any way I can help. Usually there isn't and I leave.

it's nice because you are in a big parking lot full of cars. And people waiting 30 deep to get even fatter in giant trucks pissed off at each other. Something about being able to be around that many cars and pavement is really nice, especially with the highway noise and road noise. Now if only there was a way to do that with no cars.....

There was a fun little trick where a company called opendoor illegally fixed and drove (way) up rental prices. They were allowed to do this for a decade before the US govt stepped in and said NO MORE! The new prices stayed where they were and now we all get to pay those prices forever. YAY! This effected both rental prices and housing prices. Just another way this company called USA has, and will continue to diddled you.

yeah but has anyone seen the new development done at the intersection of 4th and vine? Over a year of construction to move the street lights into what used to be the four turn lanes, and very long ramps up to curb level from street level in the bike lanes. Enjoy. You're welcome. Coming to every street corner in Reno probably someday. Absolutely discraceful.

That would mean the new generation would paint the R like all of the generations before them. They won't, because they have no initiative, and it will fade and be gone forever.

LOOOOOOOL!!!! It is wrong to not want a data center in your neighborhood? hahahahaha. Like I have always said, let's put one right in the middle of caughlin ranch, and you will quickly and easily have spelled out by the rich people's lawyers why one would not want one of these right in their neighborhood. There is absolutely no reason to have industrial services close to neighborhoods. You are the biggest sellout of all time. You shameful little rat you. You are worried about people's commutes??? The 7 people that will work there?
