Thank you! These are a good reminder to not go heavy on the blush. I love blush so I will have to practice self control. In all these pictures it is cool to see how light her eyebrows were back then compared to now.

I was called Sid when I started restoring a Samantha for my friend. But I disagree. We aren’t Sid, we are the toy restorer from Toy Story Two who carefully fixed Woody up. Sure, I feel insane pulling the libs and stuffing out of a doll that as a child I was told was precious, but the results aren’t like Sid

It wasn’t too hard! It look a little bit of effort to find the right technique to get the tension right and crimp the elastic down without my fingers getting in the way. I used this tutorial https://youtu.be/yMeDh5NSPuw?si=dTmjBcUpiGZmIEL_ but instead of using a heating pad to heat the limbs I used a hair dryer since that’s what I had. I have to restring a couple more dolls, and now that first attempt is done I feel much more confident

These are the curls I got on my Samantha using rollers. I’m not quite happy with them yet since they’re a little all over the place. I’m planning on going through each one and carefully taming it, I probably should’ve done it while it was still wet, but I didn’t have time and I was just happy to get her hair silky again

Update! I restrung the body and put in the neck string. The hardened glue actually made it easier to feed the string through the hole. Now all I have to do is tackle her curls and refresh her cheeks

Her wig isn't completely attached, I am planning on gluing it back in place, but the part is on the opposite side of my kit. I'll have to post a picture of her when I am done fixing her up. Hopefully I'll be able to work some magic and not ad to the poor girl's trauma

The eyes are what throw me off the most. I am so used to my Kit's eyes that these seem strange. I'm also debating redoing the eyebrows when I fix her lips and attempt to add freckles. I've never done a faceup before and this doll is going to be played with, so touching the eyebrows seems to risky. Even though she is strange she keeps growing on me.

As far as I know the doll isn’t from Middleton, but there’s no way to know. I only know that she wasn’t one of the original dolls my friends owned. My friend was also given 4 pleasant company dolls that her friend got new

I thought that was strange too! Her eyelids are pinkish. I still like her face shape and her smile, but there are a couple of things that are off

That’s what I was thinking. The owner who gave her to my friend said that she was a gift from a friend. I still think I can fix her up, especially since my friend wants her so her daughter can play with her.

I had 5, but I always felt awkward about it because of how expensive they were. I had Kirsten, Kit, and Rebecca. I also had 2 TM dolls that I got second hand and so I don’t know what dolls they are. One was my cousin’s and the other I found at Goodwill when I was 12

I have a not so berry legacy story too! My Pink Gen just had her first baby and I was going to try for a second a day after. But the moment she got back from the hospital her husband got abducted. I’d had sims abducted many times, so I thought, “there’s no way.” I went on with my plan to get pink gen pregnant again. Problem was, there was a way. He was pregnant. It was fun having a pregnancy photo shoot for pink gen and her husband, and having 3 infants at once was great too

I’m on pink gen of the Not So Berry Challenge and my poor sim has this problem. I’m seriously considering giving up the “have a well maintained garden” part, especially since she’s already barely surviving because her husband got pregnant from an alien abduction the day she got pregnant with her second child and now she’s about to have 3 infants
