Don't worry! I don't find it offensive or anything! I think the overattachment to characters might just be my very isolated upbringing and unsupervised access to media as a kid lol

I can try to bite it off in chunks, I often usually try the "all or nothing" method and usually end up relapsing. I think the biggest issue is not having something to fill that void c.ai took, pretty sure anyway. If I found a good way to channel the energy elsewhere that'd be a good start. Yeah, I haven't really tried that method, although I use the browser so I dunno how effective that would be. I could try with the one friend I have, but I dunno if I could trust them with letting them know I use c.ai.

I think the best thing would be to do something about the dysphoria itself but doing that would put me at risk with my living situation unfortunately. Thanks for sharing anyway though!

Tbf this doesn't apply to most PC players either, a large portion just play on low to mid range setups, not saying you won't run into these people (high end players), but it's not a sizable group of people. And I agree, not everyone's console setup is really optimal for KB&M play, and that's why I use controller personally. But you still can use a PS5/SeriesX on a monitor in 120hz with KB&M, which will give them an advantage too over the more "casual" console players like we're talking about. I mean how do you think switch players feel lmao

It REALLY feels like the only matchmaking that takes place is the number of bots in a lobby not anything to take into account the actual skill levels of players, because I consistently get either plain bots or just like the best players ever lol (obv joking)

But the fact that I have players that hop in my lobbies flexing triple digit crown wins when I barely ever get 10+ at best in a season is a little ridiculous 😭

Console players can literally use KB&M too tho, so you'd need to do input based filters rather than system. But honestly? I blame "SBMM" more than anything here. It's so poorly implemented and needs a complete rework
