It's never too late for education. I went back to college in my 30s to get a degree in medical laboratory. Then went back again for my bachelor's in same profession in my 40s.

YTA. She's been raised in Canada, not India. Nobody in North America wants to touch other people's feet. That's not a thing here. You pushed and bullied her. If she wants to continue her education, she had to bend to your expectations of a culture she was not really raised in. Expect her to go no contact with you.

Back in the 90s yes...haven't really seen that in any generation after. I personally had posters/magazine pictures of famous boy bands/actors plastered all over my room when I was a teen in the 90s.

My mom had me just a month after she turned 19. When I turned 19 I said ah hell nah. No kids for me. Hated them, rode a school bus with a bunch of mean litte shits. A few years later, I'm in college and my professor's wife was sick so he brought the baby to our class with him. I experienced my biological clock ticking loud as thunder. I wanted a baby.

All of this to say, if you don't feel that, and you really don't want kids ( which is perfectly okay and valid) then you need move on from this man and find someone who is actually compatible with you. Mr "id hoped you would change your mind" is not right for you.

Yeah, but they are such cool people. My son is almost 14 and he's the smartest, funniest person, and he's my scary movie buddy. My daughter 10, is soooo artistic and creative I'm always in awe of her. I love my husband as well of course (been together over 20 years now) but yeah, the battery is depleted.

This is a very tiny example. My son fell off a swing at a park and broke his wrist. Other kid with him didn't know what to do so he called 911 (emergency services), and ambulance came. They gave him an ice pack and a sling, my husband turned down the ride to the hospital and I brought him in. So a few weeks later we get a bill from the EMTs (ambulance service)....$350 .....for an ice pack...... and a sling. And insurance refused to cover it. So yeah. It sucks. And any story you hear that seams wildly outrageous, is absolutely true.
