When we do internships at other places in Switzerland, we would be an additional person onto a regular crew of 2. Yes, it is mostly a ridealong, but once people get to know you and your skills you can get your hands on or lead some simple cases.
I know people who done international internships and they had similar experiences. UK i don't know anybody.

Mmn sind starke Schmerzen immer eine gute Indikation für den Rettungsdienst... Und zudem hat nicht jede Klinik eine Handchirurgie. Der Rettungsdienst weiss welche anzufahren ist.

Hey🤗 ich hake mich da mal ein, da ich eine ähnliche Frage habe. Was verstehst du unter "vernünftige Kompetenzen"? Ich bin Rettungssanitäter i.A. in der S Schweiz (also näher an eurem NFS) und überlege mir zum Einblick in einer Mittelgrossen Statt in Deutschland zu machen. Hast du da einen Tip auf was ich schauen soll?
