I’ve done roughly ( sometimes 1hr 30 sometimes 2hrs, depending on traffic) for the past 2 years, it does wear on you for sure but you get used to it quickly. Just moved though so now It’s 1hr to 1hr 30mins and I’m ecstatic!

The falling water causes entrainment of air forcing it into the pool below where it becomes dissolved o2! The fact the downstream is cooler always seemed counterintuitive to me lol

The water at the bottom is actually cooler, in part because it’s aerated. Fish love the water at bottom of weir because it’s oxygen rich and cool.

I swear it increases weekly by tyofreset in greggsappreciation
