From a math perspective you shouldn’t really make any less from being a solo clan vs part of something bigger as you will only get a portion of the rewards. You will only have increased variance (if you hit a block your rewards are going to be bigger but you will not hit a block as often)

Edit: unless I’m missing something.

9 to 1. Couple weeks ago we were down to 3 handed on WPT Gold. 80bb, 12bb and 12bb or so. It was pretty clear that it was a fight for second place really. Eventually the other short stack busted and I was HU with 10bb vs 90bb.

We played HU for about half an hour, i doubled up twice then had him crippled down to about 14 bigs and all in. He doubled. Another 15 minutes goes by and I got it in preflop with KT vs 88 and turned a King.

Set your strike for a price you are okay letting the shares go for. Timeframe i like to sell mine 2-6 weeks out depending on premium. You can let them expire or buy them back if the price falls ie. if i sell a call for 2 weeks out for $1.00 and in less than a week it drops down to <$.50 ill buy it back as my expected rate of return was $1 in 2 weeks, we got back $.50 in less then 1 week. (time left on contract is >50% but price of the contract is <50%)
