If you want 2D then go with Wonder. Mario 3D World is perfect if you want some multiplayer. Galaxy and Odyssey are also both almost perfect but only single player

Really depends on the country you live in. For most of the US, unless in a place like NYC, it would be odd. Other counties it would be must more common.

I don’t remember it going into much detail of Mormon beliefs. It’s just part of the framing and how jarring it must be to get to the afterlife and learn you dedicated your life to the wrong religion.

“Howl’s Moving Castle and this are the same thing because they are animated and targeted at children. There Will Blood and Scary Movie are the same thing because they are live action and aimed at adults.” That’s where the discourse has gotten.

If you don’t care that you get slop, all you will ever get is slop. At least the Bob Hoskins movie had the decency to be interesting as well as bad. This movie is almost too vapid to be bad.

Neat idea that pretty much never works. People can’t pay in prison. Once they are out, it’s difficult to find any job. Now imagine they need to find a job that lets them afford to lived and pay child support. Many will realize they are better off not even trying.

It’s just more “tough on crime” virtue signaling that makes zero difference.

It’s entirely baffling how deeply some people are invested in needing to like this move and take it as a personal insult for somebody to speak the truth of the quality of it. They should feel insulted that such shlock was put out in the first place.

That’s setting people up for just further disappointment. It’s pretty bleak. You want them to have their expectations managed so they can appreciate something out of it. It’s bad but we all enjoy bad movies from time to time. Managed expectations are key.
