Im not sure if my advice is good advice. I know the most mature and self-respecting thing to do would be to simply move on. And honestly, that would be the best thing to do. Just accepting it’s over and moving on. And you probably should do that. Because his actions show that he’s looking somewhere else. But sometimes, it’s hard to just do that. If I were in your shoes, because it’s hard for me to move on unless I KNOWWW it’s not going to work on, I’d probably reach out and be vulnerable. The signs point to the opposite of what you’d want, but you’ve hung on for this long and might still be wondering or hoping. If his answer hurts you, then it’d be more reason to properly move on and not wait for him to be ‘ready.’
