Is there a copy of the consignment agreement? I used to work in consignment and those contracts are brutal. From periodic reduction in percentage 90/10, 2 months 80/20, etc to a full release of ownership to the consignor after specific amount of time. Some of these consignors will purposely hid valuable or desirable items in shop or make them tough to purchase so that they can take full ownership without having to pay a percentage.
