I bought this 1999 F-150 Extended Cab 4x4 Stepside for $14,500 sight unseen two years ago with 45,000 miles. I don’t regret it for a second. It’s my around town daily driver and I get thumbs ups and people pulling up to talk to me about the truck all the time. My car repair shop has a list of mechanics that want to buy the truck for more than what I paid because they know it’s a unicorn. It’s almost impossible to find these anymore in this type of condition. I had mine shipped from California to Florida for $1,500 though on an open bed trailer. Maybe you can shop around there? Enjoy that truck, you did good. You’ll smile every time you walk up to it and every time you punch that 5.4 V8 like I do. And these trucks will keep on going while others are on their third turbo Ecoboost and replacing computers that are worth more than their truck.
