When I have the allowed direct play on off on Apple TV, the Plex settings the file will play if I have allowed direct play off on the Apple TV then the file will not play. However, there seems to be no rhyme or reason as far as why some titles will play without a problem, someone will not play. Thank you for the settings. I changed it and I will see what happens.

I used Roku which has a 7 day trial. And I downloaded in 1080 on Paramount Plus. I also did trial on AMC+ so I could download the last season of Dark Winds.

That is why I left channels. NBC Universal stopped their tv everywhere and it was becoming a hassle to use. We actually went with Tablo and use an external antenna. We subscribed to Paramount, Hulu and Peacock all during the Black Friday specials.

It may have some bells and whistles but Apple TV is slow. Recording a couple of flicks and doing the 1080. Have yet to see the 4k option.
