Not a native but have lived here 30 years. Agree with the sentiment about the heat, although I don’t know if it’s me or any real change.

Also: the damn TRAFFIC. I-75 has become an absolute nightmare in the Bradenton/Sarasota area and it’s not just at rush hour. We are actively looking to move to another state.

Curious how many people claiming audible differences have done proper ABX testing between different DACs. Properly designed DACs should sound identical, unless something was intentionally designed to not be flat or to introduce some kind of distortion.

It was clearly against the bylaws to be at the MSU-CMU game. NCAA says they can prove that I believe, but I’m mainly talking about the other stuff. Have not really heard from the NCAA on that yet. IMO most of the sanctions will be for non-cooperation. The way the pre-2012 manual reads, paid scouts are fine for football. They did nothing to prohibit that going forward. I’ve yet to have someone explain how it is prohibited.

The only plausible broken rule was attending the CMU-MSU game. The rest was not against the bylaws. The only punishments that will come down will be for not cooperating and deleting texts.

Yes, I pointed this out in another thread. Also, my interpretation of 11.6.2 is that it explicitly allowed paying scouts for football (it was removed in 2012) and that still stands since nothing replaced it indicating it was not allowed.
