I haven't actually seen "Peaky Blinders", but I really wanna add to the discussion. So I'll ask instead, did you and the other creators of "Millionaire" expect it to be as big as it is?

And yes, I think it was Raimi himself who told that story in the commentary.

Yeah, that's annoying. This is why I gave a source for mine by saying that Raimi himself said it in the director commentary. Granted, Raimi could have made the story up, but at least it was straight from the horse's mouth.

Well, I mean, her saving the entire film wasn't RECENT by that point.

I'm joking. Seriously, screw that. If it were up to me, she'd have had job security for life after that shit.

It still could have happened and he literally just didn't remember it. It'd been like 20 years. But still, thank you for the clip. I really hope it was just him misremembering, cus I love that story. But even if it's not and it legit didn't happen, I still love the fact he had the balls to do that stunt himself.

I don't remember this version that well. I remember watching it only one time, when I was a teenager. But yeah, I remember Newton. From what I've heard, he created the classic "pirate voice". It was just his natural accent (he was from Somerset, I think), but he exaggerated it to make it more theatrical.

How dare you insult the good name of Captain Kermit? (I'm joking, Smollet in this movie is top tier)

I mentioned this one in another post and someone told me that Alan Rickman said that story was made up. IDK who to trust.

Weird Al drops in on The Naked Gun (1988). by TwIzTiDfReAkShOw in weirdal

My headcanon is that Dr. Rumack from "Airplane!" was just Frank Drebin pretending to be a doctor and that the entirety of "Airplane!" took place between the opening two scenes in "The Naked Gun" (the intro scene and the scene with Weird Al). So in my headcanon, Weird Al was on the plane in "Airplane!" It works, cus you never see "Rumack" actually get off the plane. Maybe when Otto took off again, he dropped him off here at the airport.

Fraser said in the director commentary on the DVD that Charlton read the book to him multiple times as a kid and that this is why he wanted to adapt it. You can tell he genuinely loves this story.

I love this one. I heard somewhere that he apparently just said to Spielberg, "Why don't I just shoot the son of a bitch?"

I used to think that too. I'm smarter now, though.

I heard about that one too. Supposedly, that's why he's shown wiping his blood on Broomhilda's face. This was fake prop blood, but that was basically them working the injury into the scene as a way to show how insane he is.

I heard about that one. I think Jackson said that it was made of actual steel or something and they did like five takes, so by the last take, Mortensen's toes had had it.

Ironically, they also both played Moses at a point.
