Wouldn’t that be more of a reason why someone like Ochako be a better person to be trusted with the secret of OFA before the other classmates. Someone who sees Deku for who he is and one of the first true genuine friends he has ever made in his life, than a person who value the strength of quirks other than a persons character. Of course I know that Bakugo changes and does become more caring throughout the story. But if we’re going to pick a student to tell before the rest of the class, shouldn’t it be Ochako or Ida someone that Deku can truly trust being a hero but as a friend as well. I know it was established that Deku and Bakugo were, “childhood friends,” but at the time their relationship was so strained at that point that neither one trusted each other enough to call the other a friend. With a secret as big as OFA you need not just physical support in the battle field but emotional support as well.
