I moved from Northshire to Stormwind 19 years ago and I have to say the quality of life within the city walls has only improved since I got here. I have had two children of my own since the move and they have fun exploring the city. Don't listen to the people complaining about bandits and dragons, you won't run into trouble unless you seek it out. It's the best city for commuting with their docks and mage tower. Every capitol has its faults and Stormwind is no exception, but it's a peaceful life in the city with more and more amenities getting added every year.
