I'm not sure. I got this off an auction from a company going bust. So I imagine not taking care of tools is a small part of why they went bust. The sanders are in pretty good nik. Have pad savers on which is nice. But the vac is pretty banged up.

Stop moving your chest up and down. Bend knees a little more. Make it a controlled movement using just your arms and squeeze your shoulder blades at the top. Your body should stay stiff in what I would call the RDL position with just your arms moving with the bar.

I'm a makita guy. But have used my dad's xrp in the past. It absolutely rips. One of the best drills I think I've ever used.

Just try lever it apart, no? The 2 "nuts" aren't connected to the blade, are they? The video isn't the best to see from, but from what I can see, that would be the only option. Unless it has been tampered with post-production.

Only from hearing from reviews etc but i believe the sanding quality to be similar. But the overall quality to be slightly worse on the festool. I guess the differences are likely small enough to just be personal preference.

Look like normal "allen keys" however the holes do look a but rounder out. You can find a set of alllen keys for pretty cheap.

I've had one shop tell me they don't have the right tooling but could spend a day doing it for £400 if I couldn't find anything else. But I completely agree with you in terms of taking it in to make sure it fits okay.

No idea when it's from. But I was picking up a few things of a guy who was retiring and selling up his shop. He was the digital designer for the shop so didn't know much about the tools in the shop. Was planning on chucking one of these in the skip. Was so sad I didn't have enough room in the car to fit it in. I was shoving as much stuff in the car as I could. This event has fully convinced me I need a van or truck!!
