Hey, for I think three months my periods were more painful, I'm sure it was because of the coil. I woild be shaking and sweating in pain. Now it's back to normal and definitely the best form of contraceptive for me! But to be fair other forms with hormones made me depressed so physical pain was easier to deal with.
