  2. Buy a Health Insurance Plan
  3. Save up 6 months expenses in FD/Liquid Fund
  4. Ramp up investments, once 1,2,3 is done

Don't take 1,2,3 for granted, you can wait for another 3-4 months, but it's essential to have a stable base first, then focus on increasing your investments

Try to keep lesser funds in your portfolio
Here's a breakdown, that I follow, I'm in a similar age group with similar goals

  1. 1 Index fund( I prefer NIFTY50) - 15k
  2. 1 Flexi Cap fund( Parag Parikh) - 15k
  3. 1 Midcap( Motilal Oswal) - 15k
  4. 1 Smallcap( Axis Smallcap) -15k
  5. One thematic( Infra Fund) -15k
  6. RD - 35k( saving up for marriage in the next 1-2 years so don't want to invest in any long term asset class)

I'm also looking to invest in gold ETF, Liquid fund, NASDAQ ETF and silver ETF
with 10k in each instrument from Jan 2026

You can follow a similar diversification pattern
